In 2008, Scotnom Ltd, an apolitical private company, was established to campaign for and operate the dotSCOT top level domain on behalf of the Scottish Community.
We established a balanced team to give us the best chance of being successful in obtaining the licence to operate this Top Level Domain.
We have a skilled management team covering the technical aspects as well as the sales and marketing skills needed to ensure the application is successful. We have also retained the services of a number of consultancies and advisors to cover specialist knowledge, such as operational aspects of running a registry, as well as legal and political advisors.
Together, we feel that we can provide a very strong campaign, and look forward to announcing that the dotSCOT names are available for purchase.
